Support the Department of Environmental, Geographical and Geological Sciences

Support EGGS

For the past four years that I have studied environmental geoscience, I have benefited not only from my learning in the classroom with passionate and knowledgeable faculty, but also my out-of-the classroom experiences. I served as President of the Maps, Plans, Environment and Rocks Society which allowed me to participate in many volunteer activities while developing my leadership skills.

I also received valuable work experience during my internship at the Union County Conservation District last summer. There I had the opportunity to learn more about the district and how it operates as a whole. My main project was to market a riparian buffer program to farmers near my own hometown in Union County.

By supporting the EGGS department, you will increase these types of academic and experiential learning opportunities for more students like me. You will help support the department’s growth and have an immediate and lasting impact.
