2015 President’s Strategic Planning Grant Recipients Announced

Three collaborative research projects have been announced by President David L. Soltz as recipients of $112,000 in 2015 Presidential Grant Awards as part of the ongoing initiatives of Impact 2017: Building on the Past, Leading for the Future. SPARC grants are partially funded by the Bloomsburg University Foundation though gifts to the Henry Carver Fund.

Trustees name new residence hall in honor of retiring president

Bloomsburg University’s Council of Trustees approved naming the university’s new residence hall in honor of retiring President David L. Soltz at their meeting in June. The Trustees also recommended and approved President Emeritus status for Soltz, who steps down on July 7. The seven-story, $61 million residence hall featuring 138 suite-style apartments, will open in August.
